Denying the plastic myths<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t

Plastic pollutes the oceans: this is more a matter of people’s awareness than the plastic itself. These plastics don’t get there on their own to sea, and it is necessary to bear in mind that most of them are recyclable.<\/p>\n

The carton pollutes less than plastic: the cardboard containers are made up of several layers of cellulose, a material that is not resistant to humidity or high weights and is not suitable for food contact if it is not treated properly.<\/p>\n

Advantages of plastic use instead other materials<\/strong>
1. The capacity to preserve food in cardboard containers, properly treated, is much less than plastic ones. It has a direct impact on energy savings due to better conservation.<\/p>\n

2. Besides, if this packaging is staining with other liquids or with some food, it is recycled as an organic element due to its remains and not as paper.<\/p>\n

3. Plastics are not toxic, there are some grades for food use, for contact with human body fluids or for the health sector, protecting the sterilized product, and creating a good barrier against microorganisms.<\/p>\n

4. Plastic as a container, has a low weight. And therefore it saves fuel compared to other materials such as glass, as a container when transporting, as well as being more resistant to impact.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Sponsoring and promoting sports and physical activities, such as the San Boronb\u00f3n race in Muel, the town where the company is located, as well as paddle tennis and futsal teams at the local level.<\/p>\n

We collaborate each year with Aragon Automtoive Cluster, through the We collaborate every year with the Aragon Automotive Cluster, in the Pencils and Smiles campaign, collecting school supplies for children in unfavorable conditions.<\/p>\n

SDG7- Affordable and Clean Energy<\/b><\/p>\n

We have invested in solar panels, ensuring the supply of clean energy and affordable with importante percentage of self consumption based on main hours of sun in our region.<\/p>\n

These numbers are equal to savings in coal of 133.44 Tons, and a reduction of 329,3 Tons of CO2. Calculation based on, 1KwH equivalent to 0.404 Kg of Coal and 0.997 Kg of CO2<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

SDG12-Responsible production and consumption<\/b><\/p>\n

We have invested in new fully electric injection machines, more efficient with less energy consumption.<\/p>\n

SDG15-Life on Land<\/b><\/p>\n

Thanks to mentioned investments before, this is equivalent to planting 17,980 trees. Calculation based on 1 KwH equivalent to 0.054 trees.<\/p>\n

To continue collaborating with this target, we are going to plant a tree per worker in our region (Zaragoza’s Forest project), fighting against desertification to reverse land degradation and loss of biological diversity.<\/p>\n
