In 1991, a curious engineer and several partners of plastic sector, decided to join forces and embark on a path together. Their proposal was to do a company where the quality of products and the implication in each project thanks to worker spirit were important values to met the client’s requirements like confidence supplier.

By this way ZATEC S.A. was founded, as a company of technical parts in engineering plastics. Step by step and with much work, Zatec will achieve to be a referent in his zone.

From the beginning, one of the goals was build trusting and lasting professional relationships, and that is precisely what they achieved. Because each project was a challenge, facing it with the passion and dedication that only those who truly believe in their work can bring.

Anyway the history does not end there. In the last years, the second generation has assumed this important legacy keeping the company’s essence.

From the initial steps, wen have specialized in the production of complex and small parts in engineering plastics such as PC-ABS, POM,PA6, PA6.6, PA4.6, PA TR, PPA, PPS, and elastomer thermoplastics like TPE-U, TPE-V…así with different additives, glass fiber(common and long), carbon fiber, heat stabilizers, flame retardant, molibdene, or Teflon.

In ZATEC, we do not only inject techical parts in engineering plastics, we offer a full service product, from initial design up to serial production (small and big series), prototype if it is necessary and tooling.

Since year 2005, we are strategically located in Muel, Zaragoza (Spain), occupying a built area of about 3347 m2, and the possibility of expanding up to 4200m2.

CERTIFICATIONS
AND QUALITY

Our main markets are automotive and electronic. By this reason we are certified with norms like ISO-90001 and IATF-16949, supplying parts like “A” Supplier to different plants of our customers in Europe, América and Asia.

Besides, in ZATEC we have a target with our society, suppliers, environment (ISO-14001 certification), customers and workers, promoting the good habits. For this reason, in the last years we have recognized with Social Responsibility label of our Region, Aragón.

Definitively, our history is the history of a professional team with pasionating workers by their jobs, adapting to new times and bearing in mind the absolutely important: quality, service, and the implication in each project, collaborting with customer.
